How a Done With You session works
Four steps, one flat fee, and your documents completed the same day.
1. Book online
Create or sign in to your MySelfRep account and choose Done With You. The fee is $599, paid once. There is no retainer.
2. Complete your intake
Before the session you answer questions about your relationship, your children, income, property and debts. This is what lets the lawyer use the session for decisions instead of fact gathering. If you are not sure of an answer, note it and raise it in the session.
3. Meet the lawyer by video
You spend 90 minutes with a licensed family lawyer. Together you go through the terms of your documents, such as parenting time, decision making, child support, spousal support and division of property. The lawyer explains the options and the rules in your province or territory.
4. Receive your documents
Your completed documents are sent to you the same day as editable Word files. You can review them, share them with the other party and make changes if your circumstances change.
When Done With You is not the right fit
If it becomes clear during the session that you need a lawyer to represent you in court on an ongoing basis, the lawyer will tell you and explain where to go next. Done With You is a limited scope consultation and does not create an ongoing lawyer and client relationship.
